Specially designed for fans of cheese and wine, if you want to improve your knowledge of wine, you're sure to love this varied and informative tasting session! In a fun and engaging session, a qualified sommelier will introduce you to five wines from different regions and endeavour to answer all of your questions about these two pillarstones of French gastronomy.  From the Champagne region to Bordeaux, via Sancerre and the Rhone... The delicious flavours of these wines will be enhanced by the range of cheeses and cold meats on offer (smoked ham from Southern France, Corsican sausage, etc.), and your host will help you to discover which wines and cheeses complement each other – a real treat for the taste buds! The class will cover several topics, including: the secrets of champagne making; wine-tasting techniques and the appropriate actions; the relevant vocabulary; making sense of French wine* labels (the concepts of terroir and appellation, etc); the major French wine-growing regions (their grape varieties and the style of the wines they produce*); and rules and advice about finding the perfect delicious blend of cheese and wine flavours.
